Take the Roving Retriever Photo Challenge, and be a lasting part of UMBC's 40th anniversary celebration. Whether you are an alumnus living in Seattle, a student spending a semester abroad in London, or a faculty member in your lab on campus, we want to see your smiling face next to True Grit, our roving retriever mascot.
It's easy! Simply photograph the Roving Retriever in a creative setting or situation. We'll post the best photos online in the 40th Anniversary Roving Retriever Album.
What do I do?Download your very own Roving Retriever here. Print it, cut it out - even decorate it if you like. (You can also use a stuffed Retriever toy, available at the UMBC Bookstore.)
Now grab your camera, and take a photo of yourself with the Roving Retriever. You could be on vacation at some exotic destination or in your own back yard - it doesn't matter. Just make it creative (and keep it in good taste)!
