HUM 250 Interdisciplinary Studies in the 3 credits
Humanities
Grade Method: REG/P-F/AUD This course will
provide students with the opportunity to
develop both research skills and a
knowledge of major library resouces in the
humanities by studying a topic in an
interdisiplinary manner. Students will
learn to use print and electonic
resources, including online scholarly
indexes and the Internet. Students will be
required to develop a research strategy to
select appropriate sources, to evaluate
identified material, to produce an
annotated bibliography on their topic and
to present their experiences to the class.
As this couse is also offered within the
Honors College, permission is required by
them for non-Honors Students. Class will
meet in Room 259 in the Albin O. Kuhn
Library.
