Analysis
Grade Method: REG/P-F/AUD Bayesian ways
have become very popular in statistics in
recent years. This course will introduce
students to basic ideas of Bayesian
Statistical analysis. This involves ideas
of inverting probabilities through Bayes
theorem, concepts of prior and posterior
probabilities. Students will be show how
to do Bayesian calculations. Examples
will be given from commonly used models.
Prerequisites: STAT 451 and STAT 453.
