Grade Method: REG/AUD This course enables
students to critically assess how past and
current marketing efforts, media content
and communication technologies are driven
by and respond to social attitudes towards
older people. Topics include analysis of
impacts on the older population from brand
strategies, advertising campaigns,
broadcast programming, documentary
techniques, theatrical films and online
media. Classroom lectures, guest lectures
from the communications industry, and
student media demonstrations will be
integrated into the course.
