FYS 101I  First Year Seminar (AH) Science Versus                  3 credits
          Religion: The Battlefield of Evolution

This course explores the origins of modem science, the ideological split between the Church and science, the rise of evolutionary theory, and the Creationist response. The course will trace the debate from the 15th Century to present day. The goal of this course is not to resolve the debate on Evolution, but understand the origin, construction, and impact of both perspectives.
