SPAN 309 Business Spanish (L) 3 credits

This course is designed for students with an intermediate knowledge of Spanish who wish to study business or who wish to become acquainted with the language of business. It introduces business terminology and concepts and covers basic letter reading and writing. Students learn language skills within authentic cultural and commerical contexts. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are stressed that require geographical literacy as well as an understanding of Hispanic culture. Prerequisite: SPAN 202 or equivalent.
