| HIV/AIDS is a major health concern in the United States and throughout the world. During the past two decades, both health/social service systems and society have been challenged to create a response to this pandemic. This course addresses basic knowledge of HIV infection and disease, associated public policy issues, and issues influencing the practice and administration of health care and social services.
