ANTH 211  Cultural Anthropology (SS or C)                         3 credits
An introduction to the central concepts and issues in cultural anthropology. Employs a worldwide comparative perspective that examines topics such as: the concept of culture, cultural-ecological systems, family organization, magic, religion and witchcraft, socialization, personality and mental illness, conflict resolution and warfare. This class will meet for two Saturday lectures on January 7th and January 21st from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. For more information contact donato@umbc.edu.
