Giving
matters. State support and tuition alone does not cover the cost of a UMBC
education. State support now represents only 20% of UMBC’s operating budget (in
1970, it was 80%). Gifts from alumni, parents, and friends help to close the
gap. These funds can become a source of financial aid for students, additional
resources for classrooms and the library, and programming to serve a variety of
needs.
If you
have already made a gift to the UMBC Annual Fund this year, please accept our
thanks. Your dollars are already at work.
To make a gift now, go to www.umbc.edu/giving
and click on the icon to download a form to print and mail or to give online
through our secure Web site.

an impact on the world around you.
