Dr. Kennita Johnson, alumni of UMBC and
the Meyerhoff Scholarship Program, was selected for the
Young Investigator Award at the recent annual meeting of
the Society of Toxicologic Pathology.
Meyerhoff Scholars - Michael Aaron (junior,
mechanical engineering), Andrew Kohlway
(junior, bioinformatics), and Stephanie Nunez
(sophomore, biochemistry/molecular biology) have been named
2005 Goldwater
Scholars. They join 2004 UMBC Goldwater
Scholars Aliya Frederick and Kenneth
Gibbs who are also Meyerhoff Scholars in receiving
this prestigious national scholarship, named to honor former
U.S. Senator Barry M. Goldwater of Arizona.
