Along with participating academic programs, there are several additional programs and organizations which interact with the Meyerhoff Graduate Fellows Program. We invite you to learn more about these institutional partners and friends.
Meyerhoff Scholars Program—a scholarship program open to high-achieving students of all backgrounds who plan to pursue doctoral study in the sciences or engineering and who are interested in the advancement of minorities in those fields.
PROMISE Program—a program that uniquely serves the needs of graduate students at UMBC, UMB, and UMCP through activities ranging from retreats, seminars, and conferences to informal discussions.
Summer Biomedical Training Program—a ten-week biomedical research experience at UMBC for undergraduates, particularly those underrepresented in the field, who are interested in receiving a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
The instrumental and emotional support provided by the Meyerhoff graduate program has inspired me to achieve at a level that heretofore I may not have believed possible. As a Meyerhoff Graduate Fellow I understand that greatness is expected of me and assistance in achieving it is readily available."
