2008-2009 SCHEDULE
Following is the tentative schedule for our upcoming TQB Program
The TQB
comprehensive professional development program in Biology
is provided in
four steps:
- TQB
Preparation Phase: Eleven Tuesday evening sessions with supplemental online exercises
and
meetings
- A nine-day "hands-on" molecular biology laboratory training course taught in the summer
TENTATIVE DATES: June 23 to July 3, 2008 (weekends excluded)
- A
mandatory Fall 2008 Scientific Communication Evening Seminar that is presented jointly to the TQB participants and the TQC-Teacher Quality in Chemistry Program participants
TENTATIVE DATE: Tuesday, October 14, 2008
- A
one-day mandatory Spring 2009 Gala "Share Our Success Seminar and Poster
Session"
to be hosted by the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (Also held jointly with
participants in the TQC-Teacher Quality in Chemistry Program
at UMBC.)
