A 2006 proposal submitted to the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC)
is continuing the Teacher Quality in Chemistry (TQC) Program at UMBC for two additional years.
Thanks to MHEC funding, the TQC Programs at UMBC will serve
Maryland teachers over three program years.
In addition to the teacherswho are participating in the 2008-2009 academic year (TQC Year II), UMBC would like to have
a cohort of 20 more teachers for the 2009-2010 academic year (TQC Year III).
