2010-2011 SCHEDULE*
Program funded in November 2009 by the MHEC.
TQC Cohort Four

PHASE ONE

1) TQC Preparation Instruction -
March 23 (Orientation), April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4. 11. and 18, 2010
Eight Tuesday sessions from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with supplemental online exercises and meetings.

PHASE TWO

2)'Hands-On' Summer Practicum
- June 21 to July 2, 2010, weekends excluded.
This ten-day session will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day.
(Campus housing available for a limited number of eligible participants.)  

PHASE THREE

3) 2010 Fall Reflection Session
Monday, October 12, 2010 - 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

PHASE FOUR

4) A Mandatory Afternoon Individual or Small Group Poster Work Session
(scheduled individually before final poster drafts are due)

5) A Classroom Visit - scheduled individually at the participant's home school during the 2010-2011 Academic Year

6) A Mandatory Spring 2011 Gala Share Our Success Seminar and Poster Session
Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. –UMBC's South Campus. 
The event will be hosted by the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences and will also be held with participants in the Teacher Quality in Biology (TQB) Program at UMBC.
