Good News! The proposed TQC VI Program submitted by Dr. William LaCourse was funded by the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) under Phase 11 of the FY 2013 ITQ Program to continue the TQC Program for a sixth year.

We are recruiting participants for the 2013-2014 TQC VI Program, which will offer extended contact hours and the following benefits:

• Hand-on instruction with lesson plans to repeat in the high school classroom
  
  
• Up to $2,145 in attendance-based stipends
  
  
• Two graduate credits in Chemistry - free tuition to all participants who satisfactorily complete the program
  
  
• Free course books, lab notebooks and manuals
  
  
• Free campus housing during the ten-day summer practicum to a limited number of participants
  
  
• Opportunity to apply for limited child-care reimbursements

  The 2012 TQC V Program, Infusing "Real-World" Chemistry into the Secondary Classroom, is now in progress and will conclude on Saturday, March 9, 2013, with the TQC "Share Our Success" Poster Session from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. (Snow date - March 16, 2013)
