Our instructors work very hard to provide a fun and safe workout for EVERY
BODY! The
mirrored walls, wooden dance floor, and integrated sound system of the
Retriever Activities Center Fitness Studio create the perfect venue for
the intense new group fitness classes we offer.
Each class is taught by a certified, experienced Group Fitness instructor,
and is intended to be a fun, intense addition to any workout routine.
Classes are 55 minutes long unless specified otherwise, including an 8-12
minute warm-up for each class. Due to the popularity of Group Fitness at
UMBC, some of the classes may be full. Sign-up sheets are available at
the front desk of the RAC, beginning the morning before the
class. Phone-in registration is available (410-455-8888).
There will be no Group Fitness during finals week

Please leave personal belongings

Closeable, unbreakable water
bottles are permitted and must be kept at the perimeter of the studio. |

We request that cell phones and
pagers be off or on silent mode |

Proper attire is required; athletic,
non-marking shoes, athletic shorts or pants, and an athletic shirt. |
