Fitness Testing and Assesments

Fitness testing and assesments can give you a baseline measurement to track your progress, and help you set attainable goals and a successful fitness plan. Fitness testing will measure cardiovascular function, strength, endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Each session takes approximatly 30 minutes, please be dressed for exercise.

Students: $25

Faculty, Staff, RAC Members: $35

Personal Contitioning

Personal Conditioning sessions are now available to students, faculty/staff, and RAC member! Sessions last one hour and are tailored to the individual's goals and current fitness levels. For more information or to scheduel a session contact Katie Birger at cbirge1@umbc.edu. We offer several packages, and training can be arranged around your schedule.

Fitness testing is required before participating in any personal conditioning sessions. Personal conditioning clients will be given a $5 discount on fitness testing and assessments when they purchase any of our personal conditioning packages.

 

Small Group Training

Small group ttraining is an affordable way to get individulaized attention and stay motivated working out with you friends. Want to try small group training, but don't have a group? Contact us and we will try and find some workout partners for you! We recomend that all members be about the same fitness level and have similar goals in order to get the most out of each session. Price is per person

Personal Fitness Plan

We also offer personal fitness plans for those that want a little guidance, but prefer to exercise independently. One of our trainiers will complete a fitness testing and assesment, and design a personal fitness plan for you.
