Welcome to UMBC Open Recreation. The UMBC Department of Athletics and Recreation works hard to provide opportunities for the UMBC Community to recreate in a positive environment. This site provides information about activities and facilites that are available to eligible persons. To find a listing of facilities and their hours of operation, follow the Hours link on the left side of the screen.

Facilities may be closed due to varsity practices, athletic events and/or other university activities. You can find a listing by month of all closings, by following the Closings link. For more information about rules and regulations, rental services or guest passes follow the Services link.
