ENMG 652 MANAGEMENT, LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION 3 credits
| HYBRID COURSE - In this course, students learn effective management and communication skills through case study analysis, reading, team-based online debate and in-class discussion. The course covers setting expectations, delegating tasks equitably and effectively, coaching employees, creating self-managed work teams, evaluating performance, resolving conflict, communicating assertively, collaborating, negotiating with senior management, and managing with integrity. Students are expected to apply learning immediately at work and report on results. Note: Also listed as BTEC 665. Class will be held at the UMBC Technology Center located at 1450 South Rolling Road, in the Sonography room on the third floor.
