SOWK 395 Addictive Behavior Patterns 3 credits
| This course provides an overview of the major issues related to addictive behavior patterns including those associated with alcoholism. The major concepts, theories, policies and research associated with addictive behaviors are examined. Emphasis is placed on the impact of addictive patterns on family members, especially children. The relationships between addictive behaviors and other health and social issues are explored. Note: Section 8620 is held at The Universities at Shady Grove.
