ACTiVATE is a year-long program to train women with significant technical or business experience to be entrepreneurs and to create start-up companies from inventions from Maryland research institutions and federal agencies. Admission to the program is competitive. Although the application process for the class of 2008 is closed, it is not too early to get on the list to receive information about the 2009 application process.
