The ADVANCE Program is funded by the Office of the Provost, with the express purpose of increasing the representation and advancement of faculty women in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields (STEM). The current ADVANCE Program is an institutionalization of the best practices and initiatives that resulted from a NSF ADVANCE Program Institutional Transformation 5 Year Award received in October, 2003.
