Entrance into Medical Technology programs is a competitive process. While requirements vary from school to school, qualified applicants should have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, as well as a 3.0 average in their science coursework. As always, it is a good idea to review each school’Äôs profile to determine what the minimum requirements are for entry. Students applying to the University of Maryland Program in Medical and Research Technology must submit the following by June 10th for Fall enrollment and by October 10th for Spring Enrollment, however students are accepted on a rolling basis.

• Official application packet including Statement of Academic Goals
• Official transcript(s) (minimum g.p.a. in pre-requisites 2.5)
• Two professional letters of recommendation
