Academic Advising Community

The Academic Advising Community includes all faculty advisors, professional advisors, advising coordinators for academic departments, and anyone else at UMBC involved in academic advising for undergraduate students. The community is led and organized by the Office for Academic and Pre-Professional Advising.

Activities of the Advising Community include:

• Meetings on current topics of interest, usually twice each semester
• Regular e-mail update bulletins
• A Blackboard Community for sharing documents and links
• A List-Serv or mailing list for sharing information
