Preparing for the GED Tests

Maryland

You may want to start by taking the Official Practice Tests. Many adult education programs sponsored by local school districts, community colleges, and community organizations also offer the Official GED Practice Tests, as well as provide instruction you may need for the actual GED Tests. The instructors at the adult education programs can help you decide whether you need to study for all of the content areas or if you only need to brush up your skills in a few areas.

There is a television series broadcast by Maryland Public Television (MPT) called "GED Connection. " Check your local listing for station and time.

Also, many libraries and bookstores carry GED study materials.
