ABOUT US

Students expand the boundaries of their world and develop a sense of the importance of the past as they examine the origins of western civilization. The basis of humanistic learning, attitudes and values in the western world, is in the civilizations of the ancient Mediterranean world. Students majoring in Ancient Studies will take a balanced group of courses that investigate the ancient world through the disciplines of language and literature, history and archaeology.
