Internships

All require careful planning and consultation with Ancient Studies Department faculty members. Many opportunities are listed in our Online Resources under Internships. The following list contains only a few possibilities. Many sites, including Shovelbums.org, feature listings of opportunities available in archaeology.

Credit can be earned by enrolling in ANCS 397. Permission is required to register. This course may be taken multiple times, up to a total of 12 credits that can be applied toward graduating. Only six credits may be counted towards completion of the major. For more information and permission to register, contact your faculty advisor.

For internships involving archaeological fieldwork, see the Fieldwork page.
