Glucuronide Diagnostic Reagents: Aurora synthesizes new reagents for specialty uses. For example, alcohol use can be detected up to three days after the event via detection of ethyl glucuronide in the body. Aurora offers glucuronide standard reagents directed to the forensic analysis market.

• Ethyl β-D-glucuronide, E 1001, calibration and analysis standard for ethyl β-D-glucuronide analysis using LC-MS or HPLC methodology

Food Quality Analysis: Aurora is using its expertise in chemical synthesis to develop new reagents and systems for consumer and research products.

Freshdicator Products
Aurora is developing its Freshdicator products for the food quality testing market, with initial focus on seafood freshness. Products will include reagents and kits for FDA-mandated spoilage and histamine testing in fresh and processed fish.

The Freshdicator Diagnostic kit will offer distinct competitive advantages in analysis time, cost per test, ease of reagent storage and convenient on-site testing capability. The Freshdicator Diagnostic kit will be the only test to detect overall spoilage without identification of the cause of the spoilage.
