What other kinds of career plans are appropriate for a Biol graduate?

Training in biological science is compatible with a wide variety of career paths including

Some of these career options are more compatible with the BIOL B.S. degree. Examples would be careers in forensic science, genetic counseling or clinical genetics. Others might benefit by training in a second area in addition to biological science. Those would include scientific illustration (combined with training in Visual Art), wildlife & conservation (combined with courses in Geography & Environmental Systems) or science writing (combined with training in Communication & Technology). In each of these cases, the BIOL B.A. program is probably more appropriate since it allows for the addition of a large number of credits from outside the major.
