Application Process

Applications are accepted year-round. Students may begin the Biotechnology Management or Biochemical Regulatory Engineering certificate in the fall, spring semester or summer session.

Application deadlines: Fall 2013- August 1, 2013
Any student interested in applying after the posted deadlines should contact Nancy Clements.

Apply online or by mail:

The Graduate School requires all of the following to process your application:

  • Completed application including residency form (determines in-state tuition eligibility)
    • Use Program code PSBT for Certificate in Professional Studies: Biotechnology Management
    • Use Program code CENR for Graduate Certificate in Biochemical Regulatory Engineering
  • Unofficial transcript(s) from each college & university attended
  • Application fee ($50 online / $70  paper)

Admission Requirements:

Graduate Certificate in Professional Studies:  Biotechnology Management

    • A bachelor’s degree in any field
    • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Graduate Certificate in Biochemical Regulatory Engineering

    • A bachelor’s degree in science or relevant field
    • Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
