Ancient Studies Awards
Thomas Glantz (Outstanding Senior in Ancient Studies) is currently studying American Indian cultures, Environmental Archaeology and improving his archaeological fieldwork techniques. He will be working as a field technician upon graduation and then applying to graduate school for prehistoric North American archaeology.
Robert Bennett (Christopher Sherwin Award) is a non-traditional, commuter student who is majoring in Ancient Studies and History. He is a member of the Honors College and he plans to attend graduate school.
Christina Ross (Robert and Jane Shedd Award for Excellence in Ancient Studies)
will attend George Washington University in their Museum Studies program, where she has received a fellowship. She will be working as a Graduate Fellow, Assistant Marketing Coordinator, for their Mount Vernon campus' event planning office.
David Cunningham (William and Martha Christopher Award) will be taking a semester off and then going to graduate school in History at either Johns Hopkins or Catholic University with a focus on late Roman and early Medieval History.
Chiu Yee Hui (Diane Zdenek Award) will be taking more museum studies classes and applying for museum internships in the coming summer and next fall.
