         <title>Ancient Studies Awards</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<b><span style="color:#614934">Thomas Glantz</span></b> (Outstanding Senior in Ancient Studies) is currently studying American Indian cultures, Environmental Archaeology and improving his archaeological fieldwork techniques.  He will be working as a field technician upon graduation and then applying to graduate school for prehistoric North American archaeology.

<b><span style="color:#614934">Robert Bennett</span></b> (Christopher Sherwin Award) is a non-traditional, commuter student who is majoring in Ancient Studies and History. He is a member of the Honors College and he plans to attend graduate school.

<b><span style="color:#614934">Christina Ross</span></b> (Robert and Jane Shedd Award for Excellence in Ancient Studies)
will attend George Washington University in their Museum Studies program, where she has received a fellowship. She will be working as a Graduate Fellow, Assistant Marketing Coordinator, for their Mount Vernon campus' event planning office.

<b><span style="color:#614934">David Cunningham</span></b> (William and Martha Christopher Award) will be taking a semester off and then going to graduate school in History at either Johns Hopkins or Catholic University with a focus on late Roman and early Medieval History.

<b><span style="color:#614934">Chiu Yee Hui</span></b> (Diane Zdenek Award) will be taking more museum studies classes and applying for museum internships in the coming summer and next fall.]]></description>
