At least 100 businesses and government agencies will participate in Anne Arundel County’s Job Fair. Private employers and government agencies expected to participate include those offering entry-level as well as mid- and senior-level position. Pre-registration is not required for any of these workshops. For more workshop information call 410-777-2201 or email ctrc@aacc.edu.
Students should come dressed to interview, with resumes prepared and portfolios in hand.
To get assistance in preparing for interviewing, attend free advance Careers workshops, part of the Fall Pathways to Success Workshop Series. Sessions of “Get Savvy with Your Job Search,” “Resume Magic,” “Ace Your Job Interview,” and “Resumes for Federal Jobs” are offered on the Arnold campus in Student Services Center Room 224 or at the Glen Burnie Town Center through Oct. 9, and continuing later this Fall.
Also, take advantage of two free events on the day of the job fair. A workshop on “How to Work a Job Fair/Networking” starts at 11 a.m. in Schwartz Building Room 200 and from 12-4 p.m., visit Resume Doctors in the gym for a three-minute resume checkup.
