Assist the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in recruiting students to the University. Tour Guides provide guided tours of the campus during all Admissions programs. Interact with a variety of students and their families using public speaking and diplomacy. Must be willing to attend trainings and learn information about UMBC.
Qualifications
We are looking for students who are positive and enthusiastic while sharing their UMBC experiences with the public. Students should be dedicated to assisting the Admissions Office in the recruitment of prospective students. Students should also have time in their schedule, especially between 11:00 and 1:30 and various Saturdays for programs. Prospective tour guides are expected to be in good academic standing.
Salary Level
$7.00 per hour
