Alternative Spring Break

SCA and American Eagle have teamed up to host an Alternative Spring in two of the country's most spectacular parks. Choose a week-long service adventure in either Padre Island National Seashore or Grand Canyon National Park.

In the spring, SCA will be hosting a youth in conservation summit entitled EarthVision: Actions for a Healthy Planet.

On April 24 - 27, 2008, in Washington DC, you can join forces with other young conservation leaders to exchange ideas, get hands-on training, craft policy, and plan next steps in a small and powerful joint effort to strategize actions for a healthy planet.

Fully-funded scholarships for outstanding students available for accelerated Ph.D. or M.D. Ph.D. combined training

All students are *FULLY FUNDED* by the NIH for the duration of their doctoral work and receive a stipend. We now also offer support for combined M.D./PhD training in which the PhD is obtained at Oxford or Cambridge and the M.D. is obtained from one of the 41 top American medical schools that have Medical Scientist Training Programs.

Attention all sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students majoring in disciplines related to oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, education, biological, social and physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, computer and information sciences, and teacher education.

The free CCG (Career Communications Group) Hi-Tech Career Fair and Conference will be held February 15-18.

The Hi-Tech Fair will be held on Saturday February 16, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center. Representatives from several major corporations and universities will be on hand to meet with students pursuing careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields as well as Business, Finance, and Marketing.

CSC will be closed 12/24-1/1 but will re-open January 2nd and be in full swing offering services to find an part-time jobs for the spring semester and/or full-time jobs for post graduation.

We will be open our regularly scheduled business hours, Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm. One-on-one, hour-long counseling appointments can be made; 15-minute walk-in appointments are also available Monday-Friday, 2-4pm, for resume critiques and other quick questions.
