New Grads Get a Great Job Workshop

January 17-18, 2008 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Thursday and Friday)
UMBC – Commons 331

ARE YOU GRADUATING THIS DECEMBER?

STILL LOOKING FOR A JOB?

NEED ANSWERS TO THE BIG QUESTIONS?

How can I convince people to hire me?
What am I good at that I really enjoy?
What should I do with my life?
How can I find jobs I want?

Many soon-to-be and new graduates don’t know what they’re going to do come commencement. Luckily, help is close at hand! UMBC’s Career Services Center will be holding a two day workshop (Thursday, January 17 and Friday, January 18) focusing on a non-traditional job search process that will open up new opportunities and allow you to find not just a job to pay the bills, but work that you love!

Knowing what you’re good at and love to do is key to getting employers to hire you. This workshop will allow you to uncover, believe in, and effectively communicate your true strengths.

Due to the nature of this workshop, there is a registration fee ($50 covers both days) and space is limited. Registration information is at www.careers.umbc.edu. Contact the Career Services Center (careers@umbc.edu, 410.455.2216) with questions. We’ll look forward to helping you change your life!
