Baltimore Convention Center
The Hi-Tech Fair will be held on Saturday February 16, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center. Representatives from several major corporations and universities will be on hand to meet with students pursuing careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields as well as Business, Finance, and Marketing.
Interested students should pre-register in the Career Services Center (MP 204). The pre-registration deadline is Friday, February 1, 2008. Contact Diane Crump-Fogle in the Career Center for additional information. All students are welcome to attend.

With up to 1500 students from over 30 other colleges and universities the Central MD College Career Fair is considered to be the premier resource providing outstanding career opportunities to college students and graduates. Over 150 employers are expected! For more information, directions and a full list of employers check out the official website.
All UMBC students are encouraged to attend and there will be a FREE shuttle between UMBC and Towson University. Check with the UMBC Career Services Center (careers@umbc.edu, 410.455.2216) as the fair nears for shuttle details.
The Career Services Center is open during January, offering services to help you find a part-time job for the spring semester and full-time jobs following graduation -- including assistance with resumes, interviewing, and the job search process. We're also hear to help with career decision making and the grad school application process.
We will be open our regularly scheduled business hours, Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm. One-on-one, hour-long counseling appointments can be made; 15-minute walk-in appointments are also available Monday-Friday, 2-4pm, for resume critiques and other quick questions.
