The incumbent will work as a Hydrologic Science Technician and carry out fieldwork, data mining and compilation, and hydrologic analysis as part of a project to quantify the urban hydrologic cycle. Work will be carried out at the Center for Urban Environmental Research and Education at UMBC in collaboration with USGS, the US Forest Service and Baltimore Ecosystem Study. In addition the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering or a related field. Applicant should have taken at least one introductory hydrology course. Experience with GIS is a plus
Salary Level:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience
