Thursday, June 12 & Friday, June 13
9am-5pm
Are you graduating this semester?
Still looking for a job?
Need answers to the big questions?
How can I convince people to hire me?
What am I good at that I really enjoy?
What should I do with my life?
How can I find jobs I want?
Many soon-to-be and new graduates don't know what they're going to do after graduation. If you're one of them, help is close at hand! UMBC's Career Services Center will be holding a two day workshop focusing on a non-traditional job search process that will open up new opportunities and allow you to find not just a job to pay the bills, but work that you love. You must pre-register; details at http://careers.umbc.edu/skills/ds.php .
Questions? Contact CSC (MP 204, careers@umbc.edu, 410.455.2216).
This two day workshop helps you to do just that! Unlike other career assessments and workshops, you'll be able to assess your strengths and identify what you enjoy, things that you do well and events or experiences in which you take pride. It motivates you to succeed. Ultimately by learning more about yourself through this process, you open up new opportunities.
Knowing what you're good at and love to do is key to getting employers to hire you. This workshop will allow you to uncover, believe in, and effectively communicate your true strengths.
To register for the next available session, print the Registration Form and fax it to the Career Services Center (fax 410.455.1075).
