Description:
Help analyze, design and develop software in support of host based security
products.Individual should be a self-starter and a strong team player. Candidate should be able to take iniatives in proposing better quality metrics,process improvements and improved development efficiencies when necessary. Must be willing to analyze/learn present day security vulnerability, products and test utilities. This position requires that functional specifications and detailed designs be used to build solid code. Once the code is written, engineers must be willing to partake in code reviews and are expected to perform integration testing of components. Assist with the creation of estimates for development project plans. Setup and configure PC hardware/software in a networked environment. Work with product management, development and others on product development issues.

Requirements :
Experience in at least one of the following is desired; Firewalls, Virtual Private Networks, Network Protocols, Application Layer Protocols, Antivirus, IDS/IPS. Excellent problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills and commitment to schedules are a must. Prior experience with code management systems such as CVS or Perforce. Prior experience with change control systems such as Bugzilla or Seibel. Participated in development lifecycle of multiple releases for enterprise (security) product(s). Good understanding of enterprise operating systems (UNIX, Windows and Linux) and applications (databases, web servers). Network and Computer security expertise is a plus.
