The Storage Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting sales through a variety of mediums. Position involves customer interaction throughout the entire process of prospecting quotes, follow-ups, and orders. Storage sales representative must have knowledge of William Scotsman products in order to assess needs of potential customers and suggest proper product offerings. This positions works with Service and Admin employees to meet our customers’ needs and foster a team environment
Recuirements:
Prospecting calls through means such as Dodge reports, corporate marketing lists, referrals and local newspapers. Customer visits are also encouraged. Detailed prospecting goals will be determined and provided at the beginning of each year. Quoting customer’s storage product needs, and associated costs, sometimes including modification costs. Provide floor plans, and any associated collateral as necessary, to close the order. Follow-up with customers within the time frame discussed with the customer by scheduling a call back in the SFA system accordingly. Change quote to order, once an order has been placed. Process order completely, obtaining all necessary information. Maintain excellent customer service at all times with existing and new accounts. Maintain knowledge of all Williams Scotsman products and floor plans as well as knowledge of prints and set-up criteria. Coordinate with service/dispatcher for delivery of orders to customers. Process all necessary paperwork, passing it on to the appropriate personnel. Meet monthly goals set-up by branch manager for outside calls, prospecting calls, follow-up calls, direct mailings, and quotes. Meet monthly goals agreed to with Branch Manager for contacting key existing customers and prospects.
