CDM Retirement Consultants, Inc., a growing pension administration firm, is seeking an Associate for our office in Towson, MD. The Associate will work directly with a Senior Plan Consultant to oversee all aspects of plan design and administration.
Responsibilities include:
* Respond to inquiries from clients, participants, and financial advisors
* Review account activity and initiate transactions
* Assist with annual compliance testing and trust accounting
* Prepare plan level and individual reports
The Associate Consultant is an entry level position in business and finance. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about the industry from an experienced Plan Consultant. The individual in this position will have exposure to and develop relationships with a wide variety of high level professionals. Opportunities for growth and professional development are available. Although a business or financial background is preferred, no direct industry knowledge is necessary.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Customer service, communication, and organizational skills
* The ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* One year of part or full time work experience (including internships) in an office or customer service setting
