Seeking Bilingual, MS-Level Technical Information Specialist

(This position is located in Washington, D.C.)
The US Department of Education's Federal Student Aid, Student Aid and Awareness Division is seeking Graduate (Master Degree/or Master Degree Candidates) students, or students nearing the completion of their Graduate program for a position as a Technical Information Specialist in the Federal Career Intern Program (FCIP). The main duties of the position are: web analytics/trending analysis understanding, some project management experience and at least intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office 2003/2007 products. *Bi-lingual is a must, applicant must be fluent in English and Spanish*. Individuals selected for FCIP will be appointed to a full-time entry-level position and are eligible for benefits such as health insurance, life insurance, sick and vacation leave as soon as they start. During the first two years of the position, participants will be provided with formal training and developmental assignments. Upon completion of the program, participants are eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent position in the competitive service with Federal Student Aid.
