The IT department strives to provide an enterprise class Information technology resources to our company so that it can become an industry leader in the current financial environment. Essential Job Functions:
• Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking.
• Configure, install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks, and related software.
• Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems.
• Makes repairs and corrections on computer systems, hardware and software, and peripheral equipment where required.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and helpdesk tickets regarding information technology issues.
• Assist in IT administrative tasks (backup and recovery and servers maintenance)
• Maintain an inventory of all computers, monitors, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
• Support development and implementation of new projects and new hardware installations.
• Assist in Application administration such as creating/terminating users.

Education:
Associates degree in one of the following or related fields: Information Systems/Computer Science or related field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience. A+ and Network+ certification is a plus

Experience:
Minimum of one year experience in IT Support environment is a plus but not required. Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus. Current college students majoring in IS/Computer Science are encouraged to apply.

Special Requirements:
This job will require a criminal background check.


Skills:
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Windows XP and Windows 2003 desktop and server operating systems.
• Proficiency and experience with trouble ticket systems. Demonstrated ability to complete minimum number of tickets per period (based upon group standards).
• Experience with MS Exchange administration, file/folder permissions administration, MS Active Directory, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Experience with Basic Networking in a Microsoft environment.
• Experience in installing and troubleshooting network printers.
• Experience with PBX phone system.
• Experience in PC hardware and software troubleshooting in a Microsoft environment.
• Must have excellent organizational skills; and ability to multi task and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as a team, assesses priorities, and manages a variety of activities.
