Collections Account Manager I: As a Bank of America Collections Account Manager you would be responsible for assisting Bank of America Credit Card Customers who are experiencing financial stress. The Collections’ mission statement is to protect Bank of America’s assets and mitigate losses by employing sound judgment and working with the customer to establish repayment of the loan.


By working with our customers, you can assist them in making the appropriate payment arrangements on their credit card account. The Collections Account Manager will contact customers who are already behind on their payments, or customers who are showing high risk behaviors in order to educate them on their account terms, secure payment and determine the reason for their delinquency on their account. The Collections Account Manager will work with customers that are extremely behind on their payments to negotiate full balance repayment or settlement plans. As a Collections Account Manager you will work on an established list of accounts on an automated collections system and/or autodialing system. You are expected to delight the customer by developing their current financial situation showing compassion and offering solutions. Successful candidates exhibit the ability to work multiple schedules, have a strong work ethic and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
