Sinai Hospital of Baltimore has an exciting opportunity for a well organized individual with advanced technical skills.
Sinai Hospital seeks an Administrative Research Associate to support the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) by performing a wide variety of duties and responsibilities: performs complex and highly confidential support, administrative and analytic duties to ensure the effective operations of the CMO office. Assists CMO by conducting medical literature, healthcare internet and best practices searches; demonstrates knowledge in the technology, availability, access, location and use of key healthcare informational resources. Analyzes healthcare related information and data and summarizes results.
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in healthcare. Six (6) years of applicable experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree may also be considered. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Must be technologically advanced; Medical Literature Research experience preferred. Must possess strong organizational skills in order to anticipate and manage CMO's needs; Strong internet and critical thinking skills. Familiarity with Healthcare concepts and terminology preferred, with a demonstrated interest in learning. The ideal candidate will be able to move seamlessly between providing administrative support, such as answering telephones, managing the CMO's calendar and appointments, to serving as a representative of the CMO in communications with patients and families, physician leaders and Vice-Presidents.
