Summary:
BCS, Incorporated seeks a Research Associate to provide direct on-site support to clients involved in renewable energy-related research. Position provides an excellent opportunity to be exposed to a growing clean energy field. Candidates will be responsible for administrative, scheduling, communications, and office management tasks. Position requires candidate who is proactive, diligent, personable and energetic. Candidates must have strong editing skills. The position will allow for development of writing and presentation skills as the position evolves and at the candidate�s initiative. Candidate must have superior attention to detail, be highly organized, and capable of providing quick turn-around support in fast-paced environment.

Position Description:
BCS is a small business providing dynamic business, analytical, and communications solutions to decision makers in the clean energy, health and national security fields. The Research Associate will be responsible for providing on-site support to clients in the clean energy field. The candidate will be responsible for providing scheduling and as-needed support for the Federal agency program manager, for managing a large volume of Congressional and other high level correspondence. Candidate will be responsible for tracking reports to Congress, utilizing Federal travel management systems and document control systems, making travel arrangements, organizing meetings, developing meeting summaries, and tracking a wide variety of office communication tasks. Position requires candidate who is proactive and energetic with the ability to respond professionally to quick turn around requests in a hectic environment. Candidate must have strong editing, writing, presentation development skills. Candidate must have superior attention to detail, be highly organized, and capable of providing quick turn-around support in fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work efficiently independently as well as in a team setting. Candidates must have strong capabilities in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Outlook calendar system for making appointment and setting up meetings. Position is located at client site in Washington, DC.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required. Experience/education/interest related to the energy field is a bonus. Candidates should have 1-3 years experience related to one or more of the following areas:
� Correspondence management
� Meeting planning and coordination
� Travel management
� Experience working within a Federal Government Agency and know-how of their internal processes is a plus
