Hi-Tech Career Fair

The BEYA STEM Global Competitiveness Conference sponsored by Career Communications Group will be held February 18-20. As part of this large annual conference representatives from several major corporations and universities will be on hand to meet with students pursuing careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields as well as Business, Finance, and Marketing.
The Career Fair portion of the conference, on Saturday, is free of charge for UMBC students and alumni with an active UMBC email address.
The pre-registration (see instruction at http://careers.umbc.edu/news_events/fairs/hitech.php) deadline is Friday, Feb. 8. All students are welcome to attend. Contact Diane Crump-Fogle (crump@umbc.edu) of the UMBC Career Services Center for additional information.

Note: Graduate School Admissions reps will also be in attendance.

Steps in order to attend:
Register for the fair/conference
1. Register here
2. Complete name, email and registration type ("student")
3. Complete the applicable registration information boxes
4. At the bottom of the registration information page, you must submit your resume
5. Agree to the terms and conditions and Go to the next page
6. Select
- "career fair only" (The career fair is free and there will also be a free shuttle bus provided), or
- "local A students, " ($50 fee) If you would like to participate in other conference events.
7. If you will be attending the BEYA Gala or after party, select these boxes (Complimentary)
8. Select "next" and check to make sure your registration information is correct
9. Select "finish."
