Freshman Seminar
The Freshman Seminar, VPA 120H during the fall semester, and VPA 121H during the spring semester, are required of all first-year Linehan students. The classes generally meet on Friday afternoons. In these courses, students create, experience, and write about art. The classes host visits from guest artists, and include excursions to art events on campus and in the wider Baltimore arts community. Students are exposed to a variety of contemporary art practices, and develop a vocabulary that allows them to expereicne and discuss art in a meaningful way.
