The Student Government Association (SGA) and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) donated $3,250 to Library Media this fall for the purchase of recreational DVDs. This marks the fourth year that these groups have donated funds for DVDs, and the collection now enjoys great variety. Some of the television shows purchased include the new Doctor Who, The Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Entourage. The student groups also selected a number of feature films, including blockbusters like Spider-man 3, Ratatouille, 300, Knocked Up, and Shrek the Third.

While the GSA is out of money, the SGA is still taking suggestions for DVDs from students. You can send suggestions to Joe Clark, Media Librarian, via email, post them in Library Media's facebook.com group, leave a comment here on the blog, or submit them to our suggestion box at our service desk.
